is, successful people and businesses earn big profits because they invest in learning and growing their
business; not the other way around.
This principle is true in the physical therapy profession as well as every other field or endeavor. You
will be hard pressed to find top business owners or professionals that don’t regularly invest in
“feeding their minds.” Candidly, and in my usual British bluntness, if your business is

A. If you are planning on starting a clinic in the next 6-12 months, you need to do this. Do not do what
most business owners do and spend the first five years of your business life in a perpetual state of

struggling with patients pushing back or losing out on patients due to cheaper alternatives.

A. Being from the UK myself, I can tell you this: people’s objections to spending money are no
