Or am I doing something wrong?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve sent testimonials through the post, asked patients to tell their Physician directly how pleased they are with my service and tried calling to set up meetings &#8211; but still nothing.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke to one company who told me that I should produce a regular newsletter or a glossy brochure and send it all the Physicians in my area &#8211; but that seems costly, and I thought if they\u2019re telling me to do the newsletter thing, then i guess they\u2019re telling all the PT\u2019s round here to do the same &#8211; so what good is it going to do?<\/p>\n<p>So before I go any further, I\u2019d like to know what you think?<\/p>\n<p>Brian 48 &#8211; Lowell, Indiana.<\/p>\n<p>===<\/p>\n<p>Ok.. this is a common problem.<\/p>\n<p>A natural consequence of having great hands on PT skills that you want to share with your local community &#8211; but not getting as many people through the doors as you need to run a successful practice.<\/p>\n<p>And solved, it would appear, if you could only find a better way to reach Physicians to secure their referrals &#8211; agreed?<\/p>\n<p>Well here\u2019s what you should do:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cTurn the whole thing upside down\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As in, change the way you see these \u201chard to reach Physicians\u201d and hit them with something that they want just as much as you &#8211; and that\u2019s more patients.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s really easy to do.<\/p>\n<p>You just got to get to these patients first.<\/p>\n<p>BEFORE they even get to the point of being told by a Physician which PT they should go and see.<\/p>\n<p>And Brian\u2019s right\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the point in sending a Physician testimonials of how good you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Does he care?<\/p>\n<p>Of course not!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Is he more likely to be \u201cpandering\u201d to the guys in suits higher up the ladder in the corporate hospital he has a special \u201cfriendship\u201d with?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>(&#8230;Who send him tones of referrals).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Absolutely!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So no matter how hard you try &#8211; it\u2019s an almost impossible \u201cnut to crack\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Made worse by marketing companies out there giving PT\u2019s false hope and insisting that \u201cnewsletters\u201d (which THEY print and PROFIT from), are going to make THE difference.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Possibly&#8230; but unlikely!<\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>It\u2019s simple &#8211; how many Physicians do you know<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;\"> with time to read a newsletter?<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Exactly!&#8230;you\u2019re likely adding to their frustration by continually doing it.)<\/p>\n<p>So, the only way to REALLY grab the attention of a local Physician is to send them something that they NEED just as much as you\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;And that\u2019s a steady stream of patients so that their practice can make more money too.<\/p>\n<p>And in return, you want some back!<\/p>\n<p>(Or you send yours elsewhere).<\/p>\n<p>The landscape is changing in the USA and NOW\u2019s the time for YOU to be the one who decides where patients go next.<\/p>\n<p>How do you get to that point?<\/p>\n<p>Simple &#8211;
