Leaving Orlando today\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026about to board a flight to Myrtle Beach (SC), to spend a \u201cVIP\u201d day with my own business coach in Conway.<\/p>\n

We talk once per week, and I visit his office once per year for a full day talking High Level Marketing Strategy.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s without doubt, the highlight of a trip that\u2019s taken me from the West coast to East coast, across the last 6 weeks.<\/p>\n

But, before I board, let me share with you one more idea that I \u201cstole\u201d from Disney.<\/p>\n

I started this one at my own practice a few years back.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s called \u201cMagic Moments\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

And, how it works, it this:<\/p>\n

\"My<\/a>
\nBasically, all of my team – admin and staff PT – meet every Wednesday morning (without fail, whether I\u2019m there or not) and what they each must do, is re-call one \u201cmagic moment\u201d of the week.<\/p>\n

It can be something they did, or, as I like best, something that they noticed another member of staff do for one of our patients that was, well, \u201cmagical\u201d, in how it made that person feel.<\/p>\n

See, my companies mission statement is this:<\/p>\n

\u201cTo significantly brighten
\nthe day of our patients, so much
\nso that we want to be the one
\nthey talk about at home,
\nlater that same day\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

(\u2026Notice there\u2019s NO mention of \u201ceasing any pain\u201d, \u201ceducating\u201d or restoring \u201cfunction\u201d – don\u2019t tell the APTA lol \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

And, \u201cMagic Moments\u201d helps us to do that.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, it allows my staff to regularly feel great about themselves and stay focused on their individual purpose, and our over all, company mission.<\/p>\n

As a result, profits go through the roof.<\/p>\n

Our attention to detail in the customer service dept. is second to non.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because I realized a LONG time ago that JUST being a great health care provider, just isn\u2019t good enough any more.<\/p>\n

Even doctors are starting to fall foul of the often \u201cdreadful\u201d service they give out.<\/p>\n

The consumer rules.<\/p>\n

They have the choice.<\/p>\n

And, you and I must deliver something that no one else does.<\/p>\n

The problem is, 200,000 + people in the US are capable of delivering \u201cPT\u201d.<\/p>\n

So my tip for you today is this:<\/p>\n

Business is actually really simple.<\/p>\n

Talk to people about their problems as *they see it* so they know that you \u201cget them\u201d and can provide a solution like no one else does (Marketing).<\/p>\n

If you do that, more of them show up.<\/p>\n

Then, when they all arrive, LOVE them like no one else has the time to do (\u2026customer service).<\/p>\n

Do both of those things, and my bet is that your PT business will BOOM in 2016 and beyond…<\/p>\n

Who knows, maybe I\u2019ll see you in the line for \u201cthunder mountain\u201d at Disney World next summer spending that more free time and more money you\u2019ve found and made, having a TON of fun with your family, too??<\/p>\n

Sure hope so.<\/p>\n
