My answer??\u2026<\/p>\n

Script EVERYHING.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the only sure fire way to ensure that EVERY ONE of your patients are being \u201cloved\u201d in the way that you want.<\/p>\n

See, one of the problems with growing a PT clinic is that you\u2019re at the mercy of your staff – and their ability to \u201cperform\u201d on your<\/strong> behalf.<\/p>\n

And, as we all know, the problem with (some) staff is that they can be unpredictably reliable, at times.<\/p>\n

And I don\u2019t like the thought of my patients NOT experiencing the amazing service that I have created for them\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026so, to ensure I create RAVING fans, I script everything!<\/p>\n

The first phone call, the welcome into the clinic greeting (\u2026we even ROLE PLAY this), to the \u201cthree-way\u201d interaction between *therapist – patient – receptionist* that puts the new patient at ease right before their first evaluation meaning they\u2019re actually listening to what we say during it, because they feel comfortable in our space and therefore more OPEN to agreeing to our care plans. <\/strong><\/p>\n

I leave nothing to chance.<\/p>\n

I know what my patients want from the \u201cPaul Gough Physio Rooms<\/a>\u201d experience better than any of my staff, so why would I not go to such lengths to ensure that my patients feel precisely how I want them to??<\/p>\n

Why do I really do it?<\/p>\n

Because of this:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey never<\/strong> remember what\u00a0you did for them (PT), but they always remember how you\u00a0made them feel (customer service)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Alas\u2026<\/p>\n

What\u2019s this got to do with Marketing and profits??<\/p>\n

Everything!<\/p>\n

Most PT owners struggle with getting the majority of their patients to show up for all the sessions they prescribe\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and one of the reasons that happens is because patients don\u2019t feel 100% SURE about the service they\u2019re getting.<\/p>\n

The PT or admin staff will usually hide behind the \u201ccopay\u201d issue and say that the patient doesn\u2019t have the money to pay\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026but in reality, they do have that \u201ccopay\u201d, they just don\u2019t want to give it up to a company that provides inconsistent service – if any at all.<\/p>\n

The moral of todays story?<\/p>\n

Your clinics Marketing should be a series of VERY well \u201cscripted\u201d messages that attracts people to your practice\u2026<\/p>\n

When they arrive, that \u201cscripting\u201d of service should continue – made much easier when you know WHO your marketing is trying to attract.<\/p>\n

Difficult to grow a reliable business if you\u2019re attracting many different types of \u201cideal\u201d clients to your practice.<\/p>\n

Better to be \u201ceverything\u201d for that one consumer – than a little of something, for many.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s marketing 101 that PT school maybe didn\u2019t include in the curriculum.<\/p>\n
