Take a look at this…<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a picture I took on Sunday night that reminded me of the amazing \u201cjourney\u201d that I\u2019m on:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It\u2019s my boys (Harry) first ever soccer game.<\/p>\n

And, it just happened to be in \u201cLos Angeles\u201d (\u2026watching the LA Galaxy).<\/p>\n

Roughly 6000 miles away from where we call home.<\/p>\n

\n

See, thanks to everything that I learned about how to market my Physical Therapy practice <\/a>– better than anyone else in the world could do – I get to travel this big old’ world with my family, and EXPERIENCE lots of magical moments like the one in that picture.<\/p>\n

And when I look back at pictures like that – it makes all of the \u201cfrustration\u201d, the \u201cfear\u201d, the \u201cdoubt\u201d and the \u201cworry\u201d that I often live with – about whether or not I\u2019m making the right decisions, or even going in the right direction with my career, \u00a0100% worthwhile!<\/p>\n

(Are you living with something similar??\u2026)<\/p>\n

As I write to you today, I\u2019m in Starbucks in La Jolla (Torrey Pines Road)\u2026 and I\u2019m about to drive up to LA again to learn from \u201cTony Robbins\u201d.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s at the LA convention centre starting Thursday.<\/p>\n

After that, I drive to Phoenix to catch up with some good friends, work with a PT client in “Scottsdale”, and meet with the top guys at Infusionsoft and talk about how we can work together to ensure that PT\u2019s benefit more from using their amazing software.<\/p>\n

From there, we drive to \u201cLas Vegas\u201d\u2026 for a looooooong weekend of relaxation and fun.<\/p>\n

From Vegas, we fly to \u201cDenver\u201d – for another conference I\u2019ve paid $2000 to be attending.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s from \u201cDenver\u201d that I\u2019ll be teaching\u00a0Module 1<\/a>\u00a0of this course I created for you:<\/p>\n

…I\u2019ll be teaching Module 2 <\/a>from Orlando.<\/p>\n

and Module 3 <\/a>from Conway, (NC)\u2026<\/p>\n

Ain\u2019t decided where I\u2019ll be for Module 4.<\/p>\n

Perhaps London.<\/p>\n

Where ever it is, it\u2019ll be MY decision.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a nice position to be in\u2026<\/p>\n

At the age of \u201c34\u201d… with a $1m+ PT practice that runs on Autopilot in a country with a completely free (socialist) health care system as my competitor, and able to travel the world with my family, meeting new people and enjoying different experiences.<\/p>\n

Want to know how I do it??<\/p>\n

The answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quite simply, I \u201cpay\u201d for it.<\/p>\n

In \u201ctime\u201d with studying books and taking courses <\/a>(often while I do travel) – or spending sometimes in excess of $5000 per month to talk to business coaches to tell me how.<\/p>\n

Why would I not?\u2026<\/p>\n

I give them $2500\u2026 I get 10 x back a couple of weeks later\u00a0<\/a>as a result of implementing their advice.<\/p>\n

Seems very logical to me.<\/p>\n

So I guess the only thing that REALLY stands in the way of most PT’s living the life they REALLY want, is the decisions that make about investing in themselves!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it.<\/p>\n

See, while most PT\u2019s are looking for anything and everything that\u2019s FREE (…to find customers)…<\/p>\n

…or STILL thinking that referrals from doctors are the way to go…<\/p>\n

…the really smart ones – the ones innovating and growing and paying no attention to the catastrophic changes soon to hit the industry thanks to AOP\u2019s –\u00a0are investing their time and energy into doing something completely different\u2026\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

They\u2019re figuring out NOW, how to offer\u00a0\u201ccash up sells\u201d, how to charge higher prices<\/strong> for those up sells and how to acquire NP\u2019s from the internet using Google, Facebook and Re-marketing\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

They\u2019re sending engaging emails regularly, using social media strategically and combining all of that with newspaper advertising as well as using EDDM to find ideal clients to send postcards too\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s more\u2026<\/p>\n

They\u2019re getting creative with their front end \u201coffers\u201d\u2026 and most importantly of all\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026they\u2019re 100% clear\u00a0on WHO their ideal client is!\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Because without knowing that – it simply isn\u2019t possible to grow and scale ANY business in a way that YOU can control and profit from.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d go so far as to say that my own \u201centrepreneurial journey\u201d started with the realization that I didn\u2019t even know WHO my PT business was created for.<\/p>\n

And as long as I continued to NOT know who my ideal patient was – I was never able to custom tailor a perfect PT service or experience or have any chance of marketing success.<\/p>\n

Of course all that\u2019s changed now.<\/p>\n

I have a LASER sharp definition of who \u201cMary\u201d is (…I even know her name) – and what Mary values in her life.<\/p>\n
