After yesterdays email I got a\u00a0HUGE<\/strong>\u00a0response\u2026<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s just one of them\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cPaul\u2026 We have gone from 80\/20 physician \/ Direct access in JANUARY to 50\/50 or even 40\/60 physician\/direct access in 9 short months.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

In September alone we generated over 100 leads; 50% will coming in in Oct; 25% more by the end of the year.<\/em><\/p>\n

If we have a stable MD referral base; I can more than match that with direct access patient.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

In fact; my prediction will be by mid to late 2016 we won\u2019t need a single MD referral to pay our bills. The MD\u2019s will be providing 100% profit as the direct access will pay all the bills.<\/em><\/p>\n

Slightly different (but very freeing) thought process.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

It is a sustainable model not influenced at all by fickle or grumpy MD\u2019s who\u2019s PA\u2019s and MA\u2019s change (as do their referral patterns) like the shifting sand.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong, I still want the post surgical patients but our \u201cphysician lunch\u201d days were over 9 months ago!!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2026 Best part about that reply??<\/strong><\/p>\n

This person who wrote it to me is one of MY coaching clients!<\/p>\n

\"It\u2019s<\/a>
\nSo I\u2019m very proud to say that I\u2019ve been able to help him on this road to\u00a0\u201cfreedom\u201d (\u2026from relying upon doctors).<\/strong><\/p>\n

But I\u2019ve got to be honest and say that although I\u2019ve helped him with his marketing – and sales – what I haven\u2019t had to do is change his mindset\u2026 and that\u2019s where most of his success is now coming from.<\/p>\n

I can give the strategy advice and marketing ideas – even the sales scripts – but if he doesn\u2019t take it and run with it, and implement those into his clinics \u201cD.N.A\u201d, then it\u2019s a waste of my time, and his!<\/p>\n

Now this particular owner – from Phoenix – came to the table when we first met knowing for sure that if he wanted to make it out of the doctor luncheons trap, he\u2019d need to change the entire culture of his clinic.<\/p>\n

And by culture, I mean switching from being a clinic used to receiving \u201cinbound\u201d referrals – where the patient APPEARS to need \u201cno selling\u201d on PT because the doctor has already done to so\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026to a clinic that communicates with it\u2019s patients at a higher, more persuasive level of influence.<\/p>\n

The result??<\/strong><\/p>\n

No more doctors luncheons.<\/p>\n

And,\u00a0higher profits.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even better\u2026<\/p>\n

He\u2019s got patients who\u00a0WANT to<\/strong>\u00a0do business with him.<\/p>\n

And what\u2019s more:<\/p>\n

Because of the way his staff speak, and the marketing message we created, he\u2019s got patients who\u00a0repeatedly WANT to buy from him.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meaning?<\/p>\n

Even if the insurance companies slash fees in Phoenix sometime soon, he\u2019ll be ok, because his staff know how to sell \u201cCash pay\u201d services.<\/p>\n

The real secret to his success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taking the LEAP.<\/p>\n

This owner made the decision to invest in his own ball game – one with its own rules, and one that makes him richer (\u2026and not the insurance companies or local doctors!).<\/p>\n

Anyhoo\u2026<\/p>\n

Lesson over for the day\u2026<\/p>\n

I got to go pack my bags for another long trip to San Diego\u2026<\/p>\n

Got some more clients clinics to visit\u2026<\/p>\n

And, 5 more \u201cmarketing and sales seminars\u201d to attend to ensure that I too can continue to avoid the days of ever having to have lunch with people I really don\u2019t like.<\/p>\n

Best bit?..<\/strong><\/p>\n

My two year old son Harry will be travelling with me as we visit six different U.S cities in 6 weeks – and all the while my own physical therapy clinics will continue to run profitably\u00a0without me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s amazing what happens when you take that \u201cleap\u201d and invest in yourself, don\u2019t you think??\u2026<\/p>\n
