\"Reach<\/a><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t know it back then\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026but I do now.<\/p>\n

Lasting success in business comes down to just one thing:<\/p>\n

\u201cRelationships\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

And,\u00a0growing them.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over time.<\/p>\n

Some times over weeks.<\/p>\n

Often times over months.<\/p>\n

(Perhaps, even years!)<\/p>\n

But, the longer you foster the relationship, the more it’s valued and worth.<\/p>\n

Sure, when I kicked off my practice I knew I had to be \u201cnice\u201d to my clients.<\/p>\n

That I had to be polite and say the right things\u2026<\/p>\n

And of course, do the right things with my skills to ensure that enough people would value what I do\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and, would tell people about me as well as buy from me repeatedly.<\/p>\n

Most PT\u2019s do that too.<\/p>\n

But, not many are as successful as they would hope!<\/p>\n

So what\u2019s going wrong?<\/p>\n

Well, getting\u00a0REAL<\/strong>\u00a0success in business (the kind where you\u2019re not living day-to-day hoping for the phone to ring or a referral to arrive) is way more detailed than that.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s about taking the time to study your patients at a level that no one else will\u2026<\/p>\n

To ask them questions that no one else does\u00a0(from the very first time they call)\u2026<\/p>\n

To make them feel like no-one else on earth gets them like you do\u2026<\/p>\n

And, to create a service so perfectly matched to their individual needs (not just physical) that they couldn\u2019t bare the thought of ever having to look else where to find another PT clinic\u2026<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a process called\u00a0\u201crelational equity\u201d\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/p>\n

Well, you build \u201cequity\u201d – just like you do in your home each month when you pay back the loan – only this time it\u2019s patients who become your prized assets, as you pay into the relationship account you have with them.<\/p>\n

And this \u201cequity\u201d begins to build from the very first time a potential client sees your advert, (or lands on your website), and they think the words you choose to write could have been written \u201cjust for them\u201d.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s no different with doctors.<\/p>\n

They need a little \u201ctender loving care\u201d, too.<\/p>\n

And the easiest way for to do that is to reverse engineer the referral process.<\/p>\n

Send them something they really want.<\/p>\n

\u201cCASH\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

(To fund his second home in Florida or his wife\u2019s expensive taste in jewellery).<\/p>\n

Either way, any medical doc will thank YOU for ensuring an extra referral to his practice, much more than he will than another PT newsletter landing on his door.<\/p>\n

Now I\u2019m no expert on \u201cnetworking\u201d with the medical docs\u2026<\/p>\n

I choose to build a practice WITHOUT their help\u2026<\/p>\n

(Could be a little wealthier if I did, but it just ain\u2019t me\u2026)<\/p>\n

BUT, I realize that some PT\u2019s aren\u2019t ready to make that leap JUST yet\u2026<\/p>\n
