<\/p>\n<p>Because it\u2019s \u201ccheap, cheap, cheap\u201d to get enquires and pick up leads and turn them into new patients of your clinic bringing with them $1200 each time they get hurt! <\/p>\n<p>And it will continue to be that way or about the next 18 months or so as Facebook has a massive inventory and very few business owners who are aware of how to maximise the opportunity that Facebook presents. <\/p>\n<p>One thing to be aware of with Facebook \u2014 the rules and system of marketing on this platform change every week, so it\u2019s vital you know what you\u2019re doing. <\/p>\n<p>As the changes come in, I\u2019ll keep you posted. <\/p>\n<p>For now, here are the big trends you should pay attention to if you\u2019re considering advertising your PT clinic on Facebook:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n1.) News Feed Sponsored Pages<\/strong> &#8211; The ability to put adverts and messages directly into people\u2019s news feeds. <\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s an exact advert that I ran on Facebook to target people with neck and shoulder pain who want some help!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/strategy\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FB-Ads-Neck-Pain-PG-300x284.png\" alt=\"FB Ads - Neck Pain (PG)\" width=\"300\" height=\"284\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-431\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FB-Ads-Neck-Pain-PG-300x284.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FB-Ads-Neck-Pain-PG-624x591.png 624w, https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/FB-Ads-Neck-Pain-PG.png 649w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.) Targeting<\/strong> &#8211; You only pay to reach people in your target market, whether that be defined by geography &#8211; say, 12 miles from your clinic, age and or interests. There is no other form of marketing that allows you to reach people with Facebook\u2019s precision in such a cost effective way. <\/p>\n<p><strong>3.) You could serve ads directly to your past patients<\/strong> &#8211; Facebook allows you to upload your email list (of past patients), matches it with those who have Facebook accounts, and then allows you to send messages directly just to these people.<\/p>\n<p>Your patients will think you are EVERYWHERE, but actually you are spending very reasonable amounts to reach people who already know, like and trust you. <\/p>\n<p><strong>4.) Video ads <\/strong>&#8211; Until the last few months, I agreed with the perceived wisdom of the internet marketing world that direct response mobile advertising does not work so well on Facebook. <\/p>\n<p>The mobile experience in the past has made it tricky to convert Facebook users to paying patients. <\/p>\n<p>That is changing, and one of the big trends of the year will be how to monetise the massive and VERY CHEAP mobile audience. <\/p>\n<p>I also want you to know that your rival competitors are unlikely to be aware of these opportunities. <\/p>\n<p>They are probably not reading this blog post and probably haven\u2019t tried Facebook advertising. <\/p>\n<p>If they have, the complexity of the system probably put them off. <\/p>\n<p>Or they\u2019re just get the \u201cstrategy\u201d completely wrong like most people do with EVERY form of marketing they put out. <\/p>\n<p>See, more than anything, it\u2019s the \u201cstrategy\u201d and content advice that most people fail on when it comes to Marketing\u2026 Facebook included. <\/p>\n<p><strong>An example:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take this client of mine <strong>(who I shall keep nameless, but I bet you know him and his PT clinics)\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before he joined my coaching group, he was running a promotion on Facebook to get people to click and like his page\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And it worked well\u2026<\/p>\n<p>He got 347 people to like his page in one month. <\/p>\n<p>So far so good. <\/p>\n<p>Except non of them booked an appointment at his clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Enter some advice from us here at the \u201cPT Profit Academy\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We re-worked his whole strategy from paying for \u201clikes\u201d, to paying for \u201cdownloads\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Downloads of a free report that promises to help people ease back pain. <\/p>\n<p>OF course, we hand picked the audience\u2026 12 miles from his clinic and aged 45-60\u2026 and all with clearly defined interests (even income) to suggest that they would fit the profile of his IDEAL patient &#8211; one who cares more about his or her health than the money it costs to maintain it\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And so we set about serving messages into their newsfeed with an advert not too dissimilar to that of the one pictured above. <\/p>\n<p>(It helps all my clients MASSIVELY that I actually do everything that I teach\u2026 meaning I\u2019m the one who pays for and makes the mistakes first \u2014 and only pass on what I know to work to my clients \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The result\u2026<\/p>\n<p>After just one week (last week!) we got 7 people to \u201copt in\u201d and request his Free back pain report. <\/p>\n<p>And by \u201copt-in\u201d\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>\u2026I mean we exchanged his great advice (inside the tips report) for their contact details \u2026name, email, address, as they enter his new follow up system. <\/p>\n<p>And guess what\u2026 We already got one person out of these 7 (leads) to immediately converted to a free Evaluation (bringing a value of $1200 to his clinic). <\/p>\n<p>Think of this free evaluation offer as an \u201cup-sell\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Now what\u2019s great about this is that this PT owner is only spending $10 per day as his budget&#8230;and we only started it one week ago!&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>So that\u2019s just $70, to get 7 enquiries\u2026 and already one has booked in!\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very likely that at least two more of those 7 will schedule consultations at his clinic &#8211; thus the cost of acquiring a NP would drop to as little as $25. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why we say Facebook is \u201cCHEAP!\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And now think about that happening EVERY WEEK at this guy\u2019s clinic.<\/p>\n<p>3 NP\u2019s each week coming in from Facebook\u2026 and that\u2019s just from back pain. <\/p>\n<p>Now imagine serving ads to people with NECK PAIN\u2026 and KNEE PAIN\u2026 or POSTNATAL BACK PAIN \u2026 etc etc\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If you picked up 2-3 NP\u2019s from each of these \u201cpockets or people\u201d\u2026 you could very easily acquire 10 patients per week from Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>What would that do for you bottom line? <\/p>\n<p>Best\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s all automated. <\/p>\n<p>We built him a system that is set to \u201cfollow up\u201d on these enquiries for MONTHS after they opt in to request the free report\u2026<\/p>\n<p>What does the \u201cfollow up system\u201d consist of?
