you\u2019re looking to take your pt clinic to the <strong>NEXT level<\/strong>\u2026 and stand out above all of the competition so that more new patients chose your clinic before others, then one of the things you need to know more about is how to \u201ccustomize\u201d experiences that prospects have on your pt website.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, how the visitors to your website i.e your prospective new patients ready to give you $1200, can feel as though they are customizing their future experience\/care with you \u2013 to guarantee they get what they think they want and need!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s NOT enough to ask people to just provide a phone number and say \u201ccall us\u201d, these days.<\/p>\n<p>And even having a web form up there on your site which allows people to \u201cbook a free session\u201d isn\u2019t good enough.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Now before I show you how to do online forms on your website properly, let me talk to you about how NOT to do it.<\/h2>\n<p>Amongst others, one of the problems with web form on most pt websites is that they don\u2019t allow the user to feel as though they are REALLY going to be able to get what they want.<\/p>\n<p>Let me explain:<\/p>\n<p>We live in a world where there is an abundance of choice.<\/p>\n<p>Heck, you can walk into a coffee shop these days and choose from at least 20 different ways of how you might want your coffee served too you.<\/p>\n<p>And so if you can \u201ccustomize\u201d your coffee everyday, what makes you think that visitors to your website don\u2019t want to do the same for their pt treatment?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d say the only reason that most pt business owners don\u2019t do it, is simply because no one else is \u2026and the people they\u2019re copying from, taking advice from, or modeling from, don\u2019t understand marketing, persuasion or influence in any way that is going to make you the profit you can have.<\/p>\n<p>Worse\u2026 some owners just don\u2019t think it\u2019s relevant, or that their patients want to be able to come to your website and chose a service that is \u201cjust for them\u201d!<\/p>\n<p>Big mistake.<\/p>\n<p>MASSIVE mistake.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>One more thing on these web forms&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Most pt websites ask people to fill out a form to \u201cClaim a free first session\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If that\u2019s the case, and the session really is FREE, why on earth are they asking for \u201cinsurance details\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>Again, I suspect that they\u2019re doing it just because they see other business owners are doing it (\u2026even though this doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s actually working!).<\/p>\n<p>Think about it\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re advertising a free session on your website BUT the prospective patient is being asked for their insurance details, and given that they don\u2019t know, like or trust you yet, don\u2019t you think a LOT of people will be wondering why they must give you their details for insurance (which suggests they\u2019re going to be BILLED $$$!) for something that is supposedly100% free?<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">It\u2019s confusing\u2026 and I GUARANTEE it is scaring a lot of people away.<\/h2>\n<p>If it really is FREE, they don\u2019t need to give their insurance until AFTER the freebie session.<\/p>\n<p>Now, if you\u2019re reading this and it\u2019s something that you are doing\u2026 and you\u2019re screaming at me <strong><em>\u201cbut that\u2019s how everyone has always done it in the pt industry\u2026\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> that might be the first indicator that it\u2019s time for a change and IS why most pt\u2019s never actually get to the NEXT level they hope for.<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, this type of online form is better than nothing, but there\u2019s a much better (and more profitable to do it) and this is the type of thing which also makes the difference between a patient who doesn\u2019t want to book for more than 3-4 sessions, and one will happily attend all 12 of the visits you expertly recommend.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Discover the REAL problem people want help with while they&#8217;re on your website&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>And it has everything to with their perceived view of how specialist you are and how much you get and understand their REAL problem.<\/p>\n<p>And this understanding of a patients \u201cREAL\u201d problem IS what separates the physical therapist from those with an average of 4, from those with an average of 12 visits.<\/p>\n<p>See, what most pt\u2019s don\u2019t stop to learn about is that \u201cback pain\u201d or \u201cknee pain\u201d or whatever it is they are telling you is \u201cwrong\u201d, isn\u2019t what is REALLY wrong.<\/p>\n<p>No\u2026 what is REALLY wrong is that the back or knee pain is stopping something\u2026 getting in the way of their enjoyment of something\u2026 or limiting how good they can be at it.<\/p>\n<p>Things like \u201cnot being able to surf\u201d (because of back pain!), not being able to care for elderly or sick parents (because of back pain!) or play soccer in the park with kids (because of knee pain!) IS why they are really coming to see you (or considering it).<\/p>\n<p>If your profits rely upon people coming and see you just because they\u2019ve got back pain (or which ever type!), then you mind find your self \u201cstuck\u201d, worse yet a \u201ccommodity\u201d always open to be labeled as the same as the pt down the street, and frustrated knowing that you can help all these people out there, but wondering why they don\u2019t seem to show up.<\/p>\n<p>And through this article today I\u2019m going to teach more about the winning principle of offering highly specific solutions to emotionally connected patients, HOW to do it from your website, and show you a real live example of how successful (and profitable!) it can really be for your pt clinic.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0So let me tell you a true story&#8230;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Just yesterday my own pt clinic received an \u201conline\u201d enquiry (i.e via a form on my website) from a \u201cprospective\u201d patient suffering with back pain.<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>She was also making enquires at all the other clinics in town and basically, well, price shopping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what she wrote back to us just 30 minutes after her initial on-line enquiry:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u201cHi I would like to cancel my enquiry\u00a0<\/em><em>as I have sorted something else.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2013 Erin.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our response?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOk. What does it STOP you from doing?<\/p>\n<p>2.) What is CONCERNING you most?<\/p>\n<p>3.) How LONG have you suffered or worried?<\/p>\n<p>4.) Your MAIN GOAL?<\/p>\n<p>\u2026And a few others too \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paulgoughphysio.com\/enquire\" target=\"_blank\">see this exact web form live by clicking here &gt;&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, because the girl in question (Erin!) had come through this online form, and had previously answered these questions, we were able to discover (without speaking to her) that what she REALLY wanted was this: to get back to dancing ASAP.<\/p>\n<p>Although she told us \u201cwhere it hurt\u201d was at her lower back, she also told us that she\u2019d suffered with back pain for 6 months.<\/p>\n<p>So ending back pain really WASN\u2019T her motive for contacting us as if it was, she would have done it 6 months ago when here back pain first start to surface.<\/p>\n<p>Wouldn\u2019t you agree?<\/p>\n<p>It was only when that back pain has likely gotten so bad that it disrupts her DANCING (her \u201cemotional connection\u201d) did she decide to start to of helped you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>She *sees lots of dancers* here in clinic \u2013 and would of loved to of seen what she could of done for you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If you need us for anything Erin, more EAGER to be a patient of ours than she originally was.<\/p>\n<p>What to know how we converted this patient \u2013 one who was thinking of going to one of my competitors because they are cheaper \u2013 into a high paying patient of ours?<\/p>\n<p>These words:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0\u201cSammy (the pt) see\u2019s lots of dancers\u00a0<\/em><em>here in clinic\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Made it *impossible* for Erin (the prospective patient) to even contemplate going anywhere else because she now knows that we solve HER problem
