So yesterday I spent the day with Tony Robbins son, \u201cJaerik\u201d!\u2026<\/p>\n

And during a conversation I had with Jaerik – he let slip one of THE main reasons (in his Dad\u2019s opinion!) why people are held back from living the life they truly want.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s this type of thinking:<\/p>\n

===<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m too YOUNG to do that!\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

Very quickly becoming:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m too OLD to do that!\u201d.<\/p>\n

===<\/p>\n

And what happens is the person saying it NEVER actually notices the day they made the switch (from \u201cyoung\u201d to \u201cold\u201d being the excuse!).<\/p>\n

And you know what\u2026<\/p>\n

The more I listened to him, the more it made sense of a lot of what I hear from people who are put off from investing in their health with something like “physical therapy”.<\/p>\n

See, one of THE biggest reasons people chose NOT to do something about their achey back or knee, is that they think they\u2019re \u201ctoo old\u201d – and that it just wont be worth investing in it!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s as if they think:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m 65, it\u2019s too late for me, what\u2019s the point of getting it sorted now, there\u2019s no way I can justify spending money children\u2019s inheritance money on pt – I\u2019ll just live with it!\u201d<\/p>\n

And you know that problem with this is?<\/p>\n

These people are YOUR patients.<\/p>\n

These are the people with back and knee pain who should be self-referring to you via direct access.<\/p>\n

But they\u2019re not.<\/p>\n

They are held back by self-limiting beliefs that are KILLING the number of referrals you should be getting.<\/p>\n

And you know what?\u2026<\/p>\n

I suspect a lot of PT clinic owner\u2019s are back by the same self limiting beliefs, too.<\/p>\n

Not \u201cage\u201d ones…<\/p>\n

But, a lack of belief in their \u201cmarketing abilities\u201d, or to be more precise, their lack of understanding of HOW marketing actually works (and not wanting to get the decision wrong).<\/p>\n

So what do they do?<\/p>\n

“Nothing”.<\/p>\n

Except get more and more frustrated by their lack of progress – and just HOPE that those doctor referrals don\u2019t continue to dry up, a POPTS doesn\u2019t set up across the street, or the chiropractors ease down their adverts.<\/p>\n

Which is WHY one of the best places for you to start to find those referrals from direct access you want, is with talking to someone who will “walk you through” how marketing ACTUALLY works<\/p>\n

– AND –<\/p>\n

How something like direct response marketing (\u201cold school\u201d marketing) might work in YOUR pt clinic BEFORE you have to commit to running ads, spending money on a website, buying up space in magazines, or sending out postcards!<\/p>\n

That way you\u2019ll be in a better position to make a more informed decision, a better one, and a more confident one!<\/p>\n
