Guess what\u2026<\/p>\n

I\u2019m back at my desk having spent the last \u201c4\u201d weeks on vacation with my kids travelling around the beautiful State of Florida.<\/p>\n

(Orlando > Tampa Bay > Clearwater > Miami)<\/p>\n

In that time I checked out completely from emails, phone calls – and even Facebook Messenger (\u2026noticed how people try to get you there when they see your “OOO” notification? lol).<\/p>\n

As well as playing with the kids and watching sunsets in Clearwater, I spent time reading and studying some of the most successful business people on the planet\u2026<\/p>\n

One was \u201cRay Kroc\u201d<\/strong>, (McDonalds), and the other, \u201cWarren Buffet\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s two things I learned that I wanted to pass on to you:<\/strong><\/p>\n

===<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Ray Kroc, (the dude who franchised McDonalds and made $100\u2019s of millions), was once asked what he thought was truly responsible for his success.<\/p>\n

In a heart-beat he responded, \u201cPersistence\u201d.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> And Warren Buffett, he was asked why he thought so many people FAILED at the Stock Market, when he was so successful at it.<\/p>\n

His response?:<\/p>\n

\u201cSimply because most people<\/em>
\nhave money to spend on the<\/em>
\nStock Market, IS the reason<\/em>
\nmost people fail at the<\/em>
\nStock Market\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

I.e. that people are not prepared to take the time to do their homework\/due diligence and want over-night success – therefore make stupid, not very well thought out decisions about where their money is going.<\/p>\n

===<\/p>\n

I thought the commonality between what these two Billionaires were saying – was fascinating\u2026<\/p>\n

In a world where everyone (not just in business) wants results tomorrow – and is left p*ss*d if they don\u2019t get them – two of the richest\/most successful are preaching something completely different\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hmmmmmm\u2026..<\/p>\n

Could it be that when I say things like \u201cThe Fortune is in the Follow Up\u201d\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2026or, that Marketing is about \u201clong-term relationships\u201d\u2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2026or, that Facebook will take at least 90 days to work for you\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2026or, that with Direct Marketing the goal is to support the patient along their journey\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Etc, etc, etc,<\/p>\n

What I am really saying is that it is those who \u201cpersist\u201d<\/strong> – and those who think “long term”<\/strong>, will be victorious??\u2026<\/p>\n

Maybe.<\/p>\n

For those who want \u201cquick, over-night, instant profits\u201d, what will happen to them?<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t really know – but I have no doubt that those people will most likely INSTANTLY un-subscribe from this email. (lol \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Anyhow,<\/p>\n
