\u201cAnother airport\u201d!<\/p>\n

Drinking a nice cold \u201cIPA\u201d?\u2026<\/p>\n

You bet!!<\/p>\n

And, I\u2019m thinking about the past \u201c28\u201d hours that I\u2019ve spent in this cool (but hot) city\u2026<\/p>\n

I spent last night with a dozen or so of the top PTs who are in my wider community\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026I had breakfast with 3 more\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026then I spent the day at one of the most forward thinking PT clinics in the entire \u201cUS\u201d. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The owner?<\/p>\n

\u201cScott Gilbert\u201d\u2026 (Canyon PT)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been working with Scott since early 2015\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and in that time he\u2019s embraced the change that has hit the US PT profession – and he is a true success story.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scott has flipped his clinic from one that was 80% reliant upon referrals from doctors\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026to one that is now 80% IN CONTROL OF referrals coming to him from places like newspaper ads, Facebook, email and social media – his website – and even direct mail to people in the community he serves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basically, doing all of the things that most people are happy to have done to them – but not prepared to make work FOR THEM.<\/p>\n

(Big difference).<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s a topic that I seem to continue to speak about on this Tour\u2026<\/p>\n

Too many business owners are being held back from the success they could be enjoying, simply because they are determined to live their life one way\u2026.<\/p>\n

\u2026then run their business another.<\/p>\n

For example:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t long ago that I spoke at a conference in Orlando and asked the entire audience \u201cwho thinks email marketing is a waste of time?\u201d\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Almost everyone in the room raised their hand.<\/p>\n

I then asked everyone in the room to keep their hand RAISED if they bought a ticket for the event via an EMAIL.<\/p>\n

Can you guess how many hands dropped??<\/p>\n

(None).<\/p>\n

So the interesting thing to understand is this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As you read this…<\/p>\n

As you play around on \u201cFacebook\u201d after the kids have gone to bed\u2026<\/p>\n

As you use your iPhone to ask Google questions for solutions to problems\u2026<\/p>\n

Or,<\/p>\n

As you research blogs looking for credible information to advance the decisions you need to make\u2026<\/p>\n

Ask yourself this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

If a patient in your town, who was suffering with lower back pain was doing the same thing, would they find YOU???<\/p>\n

If the answer is \u201cno\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026my question is \u201cwhy not?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you are using all of those things to solve problems in your life\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026who told you that your prospective patients are NOT doing the same thing if they\u2019ve got pain??\u2026<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a reason that the \u201c1%\u201d exist\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and it\u2019s not because they\u2019re born into money or land (like 200 years ago)\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026it\u2019s because they\u2019re doing something radically and completely different from everyone else.<\/p>\n

And in our case, that difference is no difference at all from what you are likely doing right now.<\/p>\n

Business success is THAT simple.<\/p>\n

Anyhow\u2026<\/p>\n

I think I can hear my flight calling me\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026it\u2019s with SouthWest\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026best dash to make sure I don\u2019t get left with nothing but a middle seat to choose from! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
