Greetings from “LA”,<\/p>\n

It\u2019s \u201cDay 19\u201d<\/strong> of my Impact Tour<\/a> and I\u2019m excited to do another \u201cmeet up\u201d tonight, right next to LAX.<\/p>\n

Over the last 19 days I\u2019ve been up and down the West Coast talking to a lot of PT\u2019s – and a lot of the same business growth challenges are popping up\u2026<\/p>\n

Take this one for example:<\/strong><\/p>\n

===<\/p>\n

\u201cPaul, we\u2019re having some issues with choosing our perfect patient. Do you base this decision on:<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Your personal preference? <\/em><\/p>\n

2. Who is your most profitable?<\/em><\/p>\n

3. The location you are in (the demographic that is in your area)?<\/em><\/p>\n

– Carlo Sayo, Chino Hills, Orange County, Ca.<\/strong><\/p>\n

===<\/p>\n

What’s the answer?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe one that will let you grow<\/em><\/strong>
\nand scale your clinic the easiest<\/em><\/strong>
\nand fastest way possible\u201d.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the reasons I\u2019ve been able to scale a CASH-PAY clinic (to 4 locations) is because I choose to market to a pocket of people who:<\/p>\n

a). Need what I do <\/strong><\/p>\n

b). Are happy to pay for what I do <\/strong><\/p>\n

c). Are easy to find with my marketing (this is HUGE)<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Ladies in their 50\u2019s and 60\u2019s).<\/p>\n

I see so many PT\u2019s who WANT to market to a pocket of people that they have a self-interest in\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026but who may not always be the easiest to get in front of – or want to pay out of pocket.<\/p>\n

The question you always have to ask is \u201care there enough of them who are motivated enough to want to PAY FOR PT at $150 a pop\u201d?<\/p>\n

Things like \u201cwill they find cheaper alternatives\u201d<\/em> or \u201cwould they be easy to locate with your marketing\u201d\u2026 <\/em><\/p>\n

\u2026all have to be carefully considered!<\/p>\n

If not, you end up with a clinic that you might be happy treating the people that you do see – but there might not be that many of them to live the lifestyle or make the impact you want.<\/p>\n

Make sense?<\/p>\n

Remember\u2026<\/p>\n

Everything that I teach is about marketing to the PUBLIC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Direct marketing to consumers).<\/p>\n

The profession is currently at a \u201ccross-roads\u201d – and so many PT\u2019s are stuck simply because they are looking at how the profession WAS BUILT in the past\u2026<\/p>\n

Which was, of course, relying upon referrals from doctors who didn\u2019t ever consider a \u201cperfect patient\u201d for each clinic, as they wrote the script.<\/p>\n

With direct access marketing the only way you can win is if you use your marketing to become EVERYTHING – the only logical choice – for a highly specific pocket of people.<\/p>\n

If you do that – you\u2019ll find you\u2019re competing in a league of one.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be able to set your own fees and because they\u2019ll be HOPING that you\u2019ll take them on – rarely, if ever, will you get push-back from any patients about the treatment plans you prescribe\u2026<\/p>\n

(That\u2019s how it\u2019s played out for me, anyways!)<\/p>\n

Some food for thought?<\/p>\n

Last thing:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The answer to how you get to where you need to go WILL NOT be found in where we have come from\u2026.<\/p>\n

The game has changed…<\/p>\n

…and it\u2019s now easier than ever to be successful – IF you follow the right path.<\/p>\n
