they always say they\u2019ll just do \u201c6\u201d for now and see how it goes &#8211; I have to compromise even though it\u2019s in their best interests that I see them 9 times\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>===<\/p>\n<p>Common issue I suspect\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I talk regularly about the need to <strong>\u201cmarket solutions to problems\u201d\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2026not market \u201cPT\u201d services.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And, I also talk about the need for PT\u2019s to <strong>get out of the \u201cpain\u201d or \u201cmovement\u201d game\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2026and join the \u201ctransformations club\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/What-A-Patient-Price-Objection-Really-Means-6.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1178 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/What-A-Patient-Price-Objection-Really-Means-6.png\" alt=\"What A Patient -Price Objection- Really Means (6)\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/What-A-Patient-Price-Objection-Really-Means-6.png 560w, https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/What-A-Patient-Price-Objection-Really-Means-6-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What do I mean by that?<\/p>\n<p>Well, as most PT\u2019s talk aaaaaaaallllll day long about \u201cpain\u201d and or \u201crestoring function\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026some even brag on it in their marketing or on websites\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026me and my team are talking aaaaaaaalllllll day long about things like \u201cwho my patient will become\u201d, AFTER we have gotten rid of their pain AND restored function.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See the difference?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Read it again).<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the thing\u2026<\/p>\n<p>A lot of patients KNOW that you CAN solve their problem\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026they BELIEVE that you\u2019re skilled and wonderful at what you do.<\/p>\n<p>They just don\u2019t know what life will look like WHEN you\u2019ve done that\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and they don\u2019t BELIEVE that it\u2019ll happen to them.<\/p>\n<p>And if you can\u2019t help them to do that &#8211; they ain\u2019t ever going to be motivated to show up and pay, no matter how many letters before or after your name.<\/p>\n<p>Not so bad if you\u2019re relying upon referrals from doctors all day\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026but it\u2019s catastrophic to communicate about pain and motion if you\u2019re trying to market for direct access patients <strong>(who largely, have no clue what a PT even does).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So what\u2019s the solution to this mis-communication issue?<\/p>\n<p>Easy peasy:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start to talk to patients about \u2018who they\u2019ll become\u2019 AFTER your 9 sessions is done\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2026talk to them about who they will NO LONGER be (which is right now someone stuck in the house and ageing fast while \u201cpills\u201d rot their stomach)\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026can your skills make a change in their IDENTITY?<\/p>\n<p>What will their friends and family say about them after your 9 sessions of pain relief and movement techniques?<\/p>\n<p>If, right now, they\u2019re being told that they seem to be \u201cslowing down\u201d or are \u201cnot themselves anymore\u201d &#8211; and AFTER you work your magic they\u2019ll be acknowledged for moving as well as someone 20 years their junior\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026then they\u2019ll attend your 9 sessions!<\/p>\n<p>And they\u2019ll be happy to pay &#8211; in cash or out of pocket, even in January.<\/p>\n<p>(And they\u2019ll most likely ASK for more).<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Todays lesson summed up:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Get specific.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLand the plane\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t do what most PT\u2019s are doing and keep the plane hovering at 30,000 feet\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2026S.P.E.L.L out the TRANSFORMATION<\/strong> in a way that even a 5 year old can relate, and if you do that, you\u2019ll have no problems getting them to \u201c9\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Do that in your direct access marketing AS WELL\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and you\u2019ll have no problem getting them IN (through the doors), to get them to \u201c9\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Want some help to do it?<\/p>\n<p>Sincerely,<\/p>\n<p>Paul Gough<\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S<\/strong> Here&#8217;s a REPLAY of a recent Paul Gough Physio Rooms Show where I spoke in-depth about this subject with my staff:<\/p>\n<p>==&gt;
