She saw your post about the workshop a couple of weeks ago and couldn\u2019t make it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>So she decided to make an appointment with us instead.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>She will also be coming to next workshop in a week and a half :)\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8211; Dean Volk, Volk PT. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Let me break this down for you\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026because it\u2019s so vitally important to understand that Marketing directly to a consumer is now about one single thing:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cSnagging their attention\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not always about the initial \u201cROI\u201d that you get from running an ad in the newspaper, or on Facebook, or even from a postcard\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Because if you\u2019re targeting the right group of people\u2026 with the right message\u2026 and talking to them in their words, talking about their problems and offering real, tangible solutions to those problems\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026then you WILL get their attention!<\/p>\n<p>And eventually, their business!<\/p>\n<p>What &#8220;Dean Volk&#8221; is pointing to in his comment above is the fact that he ran a \u201cFacebook\u201d ad offering a seat at a back pain workshop some weeks back&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This one lady SAW IT &#8211; didn\u2019t book a seat at the workshop directly from the ad&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But<strong> because her attention was \u201csnagged\u201d by the promise of some REAL HELP<\/strong> from a company that seems to know how to help HER\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026she rang up a few weeks later and booked an appointment instead.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey Presto!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The magic of communicating about THEIR problems (&#8230;and not how great a PT service you might have!).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/my.leadpages.net\/leadbox\/14239b173f72a2%3A1580dba8fb46dc\/5705241014042624\/\">&#8211; Click here to subscribe to my email list and I\u2019ll send you more Physical Therapy Business Education &gt;&gt;&gt; <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyhow\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The bad news is that it\u2019s getting harder and harder to get any initial response from ANY ad you might run\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026which is why I NEVER encourage a one-time stand alone ad &#8211; it\u2019s just too hard to make work and it can very easily discourage you from running any more (ads).<\/p>\n<p>There always has to be a strategic plan involving multiple media &#8211; with multiple runs tested for different offers and headlines!<\/p>\n<p>These days instead of worrying about &#8220;one ad&#8221;, I spend almost all of my time at my own clinic working out a plan that involves new ways to \u201cBUY\u201d the attention of prospective patients I want to work with&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Which over time, leads to HIGHER response.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve picked my perfect patient\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026worked out what problems they are living with daily\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and repeatedly communicate with them using different media to prove to them that we &#8211; at the \u201cPaul Gough Physio Rooms\u201d &#8211; are the perfect provider of choice for them.<\/p>\n<p>Is this contray to what most marketing guru\u2019s and text books are telling you that it\u2019s all about the \u201cROI\u201d of the one single ad???<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYou bet it is\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because it&#8217;s a long ball strategy&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And not every PT wants to play long ball\u2026<\/p>\n<p>They want to run the ad today, hear the phone ring tomorrow, cash the cheque on Friday &#8211; and eat on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>That was fine back in the last decade when \u201cattention\u201d was easy to come by\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Now-a-days it takes a lot more than a random Newsletter or a &#8220;one-off&#8221;
