it would be the ability to hire GREAT talent and getting the right people on board that\u2019ll help take your business to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>But<strong> \u2018how\u2019<\/strong> you go about the hiring process will determine the direction your business moves in, OR, stays STUCK in\u2026<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s sooooooo many great takeaways from this weeks class that it was difficult to choose just \u201c10\u201d to share with you this week\u2026<\/p>\n<p>But we\u2019ve managed to narrow them down, so lets dive into <strong>the \u201c10\u201d top highlights from Week 4 of PT Business Growth School:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Key Takeaways<\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">#1 \u201cHiring\u201d, Why Is It Such A Hassle?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Have you ever woken up one day thinking &#8211;<em><strong> \u201cI\u2019ve got to hire somebody\u2026 TODAY!!\u201d?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>A lot of business owners have, and this thought only hits them when they realize that their business needs someone else on the bus to help them grow\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Which is why the real problem with hiring is this:<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s <strong>*episodic*<\/strong> and something you only do every once in a while &#8211; we make decisions incredibly fast!<\/p>\n<p>In the medical world &#8211; that\u2019s a good thing.<\/p>\n<p>But when it comes to building a team &#8211; <strong>it\u2019s a mistake.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most people make their mind up in the first 5 minutes as to whether or not they\u2019re going to hire somebody &#8211; but doing this will determine whether you hire a superstar who will give you back more time OR, someone who isn\u2019t the right fit for what you want and need to achieve.<\/p>\n<h2>#4 You Need A Hiring Plan!<\/h2>\n<p>A plan that includes consideration of:<\/p>\n<p>Time, Money and Compensation.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t consider these three things and get it RIGHT, so many other things don\u2019t matter\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Why? Because if your new secretary is being paid $25k, but isn\u2019t converting inquiries, then she could be costing you \u201c$125k\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If you screw up on the \u2018people part\u2019, it doesn\u2019t matter what else you do right &#8211; it\u2019s going to cost you a LOT of money<\/p>\n<h2>#5 No More \u201cJob Descriptions\u201d, Think \u201cSuccess Descriptions\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Job Description days are over.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re a small PT business just starting out, or you\u2019re expanding your team even further &#8211;
