And if they are, you can be certain that business is moving in the right direction.<\/p>\n<h2>#4 What Metrics Do You Track For Therapists?<\/h2>\n<p>Some of the key metrics you should track include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Visits seen<br \/>\n&#8211; Evaluations<br \/>\n&#8211; Discharges<\/p>\n<p>And<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Drop-offs<\/p>\n<p>These numbers are KEY to knowing how much growth (or lack of growth), there could be in the following week.<\/p>\n<h2>#5 What Metrics Do You Track For The Front Desk?<\/h2>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some of the key metrics you should track for your Front Desk:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Visits<br \/>\n&#8211; Advanced Schedule<br \/>\n&#8211; No-shows<\/p>\n<p>And<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Cancellations<\/p>\n<p>Again, all of these are CRITICAL to knowing you have the right systems in place, that staff understand what it is you need them to do, and if the numbers aren\u2019t right, you know exactly what to focus on.<\/p>\n<h2>#6 Commit To Weekly Staff Trainings<\/h2>\n<p>Probably one of the most powerful, if not <strong>THE most powerful components of clinic growth<\/strong> is weekly staff training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>During each meeting, if you\u2019re transparent with your metrics, it\u2019s much easier to keep staff on board with your mission and even to help them grow as individuals, so you can keep making progress and enjoy the ride together.<\/p>\n<h2>#7 Dealing With Staff Resistance To Change<\/h2>\n<p>I\u2019m not going to pretend that it\u2019s not hard to get staff on board with change, I see a lot of business owners stuck in a dog fight with staff who resist change\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And it might even come at a price of losing that member of staff who doesn\u2019t want to join in.<\/p>\n<p>But when you get someone new walk through the door, and you sit them down to interview &#8211; lay it out in front of them, tell them how you do business, tell them your vision, and if they resist\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Then you know that they\u2019re NOT the one you\u2019re going to want to play on your team &#8211; <em><strong>\u201cI\u2019m either taking this business in a rocket ship to the moon and you\u2019re coming with me\u2026 OR it\u2019s blowing up.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>I get the impression that a lot of business owners believe they have to move mountains to get people to buy in to their vision.<\/p>\n<p>Not true.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing you have to do is give each staff member the opportunity to grow with you\u2026 And if they don\u2019t?<\/p>\n<p>Sit down and tell that employee that it\u2019s in THEIR best interests that they get off the bus &#8211; and look for another job.<\/p>\n<h2>#9 Incentives Hurt Businesses<\/h2>\n<p>I avoid them at all costs &#8211; incentives turn companies into a sales environment, and can even change the entire \u2018feel\u2019 that you want your staff and patients to experience.<\/p>\n<p>Take care of your employees, and they\u2019ll give you what you need, and as a result will show less \u2018push-back\u2019 along the journey.<\/p>\n<p>Bring money into it &#8211;
