Michelle, Bay Area, San Francisco.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>===<\/p>\n<p>WOW!<\/p>\n<p>Didn\u2019t see that question coming\u2026<\/p>\n<p>And the answer is this:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cNO&#8230; I DON\u2019T!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I NEVER have <strong>*all*<\/strong> of the right staff on the bus.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-I-Regularly-Ask-My-Staff-To-Quit.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1014 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-I-Regularly-Ask-My-Staff-To-Quit.png\" alt=\"Why I Regularly Ask My Staff To Quit\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-I-Regularly-Ask-My-Staff-To-Quit.png 560w, https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-I-Regularly-Ask-My-Staff-To-Quit-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n<p>Because my bus is always <strong>moving faster than everyone on board would like it to be<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>But that isn\u2019t a staffing problem\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026or a culture problem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s a \u201cprogress\u201d problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(And a great one to have!).<\/p>\n<p>See, it\u2019s unrealistic to think that everyone in your office is going to keep up with the changes and improvements that an owner HAS to make these days, to prosper.<\/p>\n<p>If there\u2019s &#8220;10&#8221; staff in my office\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026I work on the theory there\u2019s always at least &#8220;1&#8221; out of &#8220;10&#8221; who CAN\u2019T keep up\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and there\u2019ll be another &#8220;1&#8221; who doesn\u2019t WANT to keep up.<\/p>\n<p>Is that such a big deal?<\/p>\n<p>Course not.<\/p>\n<p>And I can fight it out WITH THEM\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026Or, I can recognize it, accept it &#8211; and then tackle it before it affects company culture and growth.<\/p>\n<p>I see a LOT of business owners stuck in a dog fight with staff who resist change\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and I get the impression that a lot of them think it\u2019s either a \u201cpersonal\u201d thing against them &#8211;
