two years in, and is doing \u201cok\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>(But wants more!)<\/p>\n<p>He told me that one of his biggest problems was that no matter what he said or did, he couldn\u2019t get people to agree to more than \u201c3\u201d or \u201c4\u201d sessions with him.<\/p>\n<p>(Even though they need MORE.)<\/p>\n<p>Want to know what the problem was?:<\/p>\n<p>Could it be his \u201cevaluation techniques\u201d?\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Or, maybe the \u201cout of pocket cost\u201d?\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Or, is the \u201cinsurance\u201d issue still lurking in the back drop and even though they\u2019re seeing him, they\u2019ve got one eye on going to a big hospital system across the street\u2026?<\/p>\n<p>Well, actually, it was none of the above.<\/p>\n<p>The issue was much simpler\u2026<\/p>\n<p>See, one look at his website told me everything I needed to know\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Almost every single \u201ctestimonial\u201d on this PT\u2019s website spoke about how \u201cfast\u201d he is able to treat his patients\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-Patient-Testimonials-On-Your-Website-Can-Hurt-Clinic-Profits-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1010 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-Patient-Testimonials-On-Your-Website-Can-Hurt-Clinic-Profits-1.png\" alt=\"Why Patient Testimonials On Your Website Can Hurt Clinic Profits (1)\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-Patient-Testimonials-On-Your-Website-Can-Hurt-Clinic-Profits-1.png 560w, https:\/\/www.ptprofitacademy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Why-Patient-Testimonials-On-Your-Website-Can-Hurt-Clinic-Profits-1-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These testimonials on his site spoke all about how he got people better in \u201cjust 3\u201d (or 4!) visits.<\/p>\n<p>And, because patients search on our websites looking to find any last bit of information just to make sure they\u2019ve made the right decision &#8211; is it any wonder that their EXPECTATIONS are that they too, will be healed, in \u201cjust 3 or 4 sessions\u201d when they see these testimonials?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Of course not.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So the real problem?<\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s a \u201cMarketing\u201d problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And, a lack of a REAL value anchor that gives you a genuine competitive advantage, over your competition.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of running on \u201cspeed\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;what should be happening is that your perfect, most ideal patient is making a decision based upon the superior INFORMATION that you provide that lets them come to their own conclusion over why you are better.<\/p>\n<p>This information equates to <strong>VALUE.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now, giving people information to help them make better decisions means that the relationship gets off to a \u201cslow start\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026but it gathers pace at a rate of &#8220;knots&#8221; as your prospective patient REALIZES that you, obviously, are the best provider of choice for them, as they see it, for what they need!<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re trying to win the race by testimonials that say how quick you work\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026it\u2019s just one step up from saying you\u2019re the \u201ccheapest\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>And the type of client you\u2019ll attract, is the one that wants the job doing in the shortest, fastest possible time frame.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s fine\u2026<\/p>\n<p>But what if that guy or gal has had \u201cSciatica\u201d for the last 6 months and he expects to be fixed inside \u201c3\u201d visits\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re going to run into \u201cpush back\u201d when you explain that it\u2019s likely to take 4-6 weeks, and maybe 9-12 sessions to get the long lasting relief he needs.<\/p>\n<p>On the flip side\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If that person has entered your world through a \u201clead nurture system\u201d that educates them all about low-back pain and sciatica &#8211; and how long it REALLY takes to heal them &#8211; you\u2019re going to get more buy in.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re able to charge more\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Because that same educational based nurture system builds TRUST into the relationship\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026ads significant value\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and ensures that people arrive at your clinic with the right perception of what you\u2019re really going to do &#8211;
